We were on board Cathay Pacific zooming down on Bangkok from 14th till 16th March.
We stayed in dear old D’ma Hotel, near our barberque pork and Happy Massage! This time, we had Foot Massage at BT$200 Thai Massage at BT$400 Oil Massage at BT$400
Everything remains the same except prices seems to be peaked through these years. The sun was extreamly HOT!!! This time, we visited lots of new shopping spots, there is the new Paragon, also the newly revamped World Trade Centre, Zen, Platinum Fashion Mall. Usual spots are Suan Lam Night Market, Patpong, MBK, Siam Square, Patuwan Market, Chatuchat, Silom, Chinatown!
Lots and lots of beads at Chinatown and Chatuchat Market! Heavy Bead Shopping! It was very much cheaper compared to Singapore. There is so much varity to select from, silver, glass, stones etc etc etc
Innerwear! From Elle, Maidenform, Morgan! You are paying very small money for quality stuff to boost your beauty! Best shopping spot for Innerwear would be Zen @ World Trade Centre.
A rather upsetting news is that smoking is not allowed in public areas in Bangkok which includes places outside the departmental stores, along streets, in the pubs. No smoking in Chatuchat! Tourist will be fined BT$2000 is caught smoking. Its so much more dramatic as compared to Singapore. You can hardly see smokers, not even ciggerate butts on the street floors. Seems like Thais are so much law-abiding as compared to Singaporeans.
